Take 1 deck of cards and remove the Jokers.
Before starting a game of Kems, you need to form 2 teams of 2 players placed diagonally at the game table. Each team must then agree to a sign which will allow them to discreetly warn their partner during the game
E.g., touching your nose, scratching your nose, raising a card from your deck...
Once this is done, the game can begin. The dealer deals with 4 cards per person one by one.
Careful! If one of the players receives 3 cards of the same value (e.g., 3 jacks, 3 queens, etc.), the player must signal this and exchange his/her cards with 4 others in the deck.
There will come a time when one of the players has 4 identical cards. The player must therefore warn his/her teammate by giving him/her the sign agreed upon between them at the beginning of the game.
Several cases can then appear:
You say out loud "Against Kems", but the player you suspect shows you 2 different cards from their deck. You don't have to tell the other players which ones and you won't be able to say "Against Kems" of the game.
To win a game of Kems, all you need to do is agree in the beginning how many points you need to win e.g., 10 points to win.
Careful! The goal of this game is to have fun while following the rules. For example, it is forbidden to take a card from the table without first placing one of your own. Of course, avoid cheating by using techniques that the opposing team would not be able to see (signs under the table for example).

Body language is an essential aspect of our social interactions and our relationships with others. Being aware of your own and others' body language can strengthen communication, promote mutual understanding, and strengthen interpersonal bonds.
Not all means of communication are equal, you have to be aware of this and use them wisely.
Body language plays a crucial role in our social interactions and in our relationships with others. Here are some ways it can be important in your relationship with others:
1. Creating connection and empathy: Adopting open, welcoming and attentive body language can promote the creation of connections and empathy with others.
2. Improved Communication: Paying attention to body language can improve one's ability to communicate effectively with others.
3. Conflict Management: During conflict situations, body language can play an important role in conflict resolution. Adopting an open posture, remaining calm and showing empathy in your body language can help calm emotions and encourage constructive dialogue.
4. Non-verbal communication is one of the major challenges of communication. We use it all day long, without paying attention to it: gestures, body language, facial reactions, symbols, advertisements. Non-verbal language is at least as important as what we say. Some studies say even more important; so if someone tells us that they are not afraid, but that they are trembling or sweating, we will remember that they are afraid!
5. Knowing the codes of communication makes it easier to integrate into groups and society
- Influence of sounds and images on our emotions and our understanding
- Cultural misunderstandings of gestures which can create misunderstandings when the interlocutor is only speaking in their “native sign language”
6. Expression of emotions: Our body language is often a direct reflection of our emotions. It can reveal whether we are happy, anxious, relaxed, tense, etc. Being aware of our own and others' body language can help us better understand and interpret the emotions involved, thereby facilitating more empathetic and effective communication.
Did you know that in Asia, pointing to something with your foot (for example pointing to the door with your foot to ask someone to open it when your hands are full) is extremely rude? The foot is an extremity considered "dirty" because you walk on the ground, so you should never "talk" with your foot in Asia.
7. You must also train yourself to use this mode of communication to improve relationships:
· By accustoming our brain to the difference, so as not to misinterpret the languages of other cultures, and not to react “reflexively” (i.e. without reflection)
· By observing the codes of our interlocutor to be able to imitate them and thus be better understood (language level, posture, etc.)
GOOD ADVICE: Open your eyes and ears to listen to others!
