Goal:

Be attentive to the information given within the group. Become aware of the unity of the group

...

What we like:

  • Dynamic, friendly, and laugh-out-loud gameplay guaranteed
  • Good listening and observation exercise
  • The youngsters become the leaders of the game as they go along

Steps

The players are spread out in the playing space. They walk normally and take up all the space. They must not get in each other's way. All walk around the room.

Spicy version:

The facilitator explains the rules:

  • 1 clap of the hand we stop,
  • 2 claps we walk slowly,
  • 3 claps we accelerate...

Leave the possibility for 1 or 2 to do the CLAP to integrate them into the animation.

Spicy version:

For older children, we can complicate the instructions a little. At each CLAP, the facilitator decides on a new way to make the players walk:

  • Walking like an old man
  • Walking on hot sand
  • Late for the English course
  • Being in a Storm
  • Sneaking outside without waking up my sleeping friends

Based on the same principle: the game of the remote control

The players are spread out in the playing space. They walk normally and take up all the space. They must not get in each other's way. The leader gives the players directions that will change the way they walk:

  • Normal Walk
  • fast forward
  • back
  • Fast Rear
  • slow motion
  • very slow down
  • Freeze frame

Option: add an action to the walk such as eating a sandwich, reading a book, or picking up a paper, ...

CONCRETELY:

  • Why wasn't it so easy to hear the CLAP?
  • How did you know that you had to change your "attitude" (walk faster, slower, etc.)?

- too much noise, not focused enough, I can't see well, - copying others, looking better at the host, ...

TO GO FURTHER:

  • What is the importance of clear communication between two people?

#attentive

  • Pay attention: Although it's a lot of fun to move in a group, we must concentrate and listen to the faint sound of hand clapping, not on our neighbors.
  • Know how to listen: You must learn how to listen to others before you can communicate yourself. It takes practice to become a better listener; it's not an easy skill. Listening happens in a variety of contexts, such as theater, music, friendship, and respect, among others.
  • Listening needs to be kind, it requires total availability of mind.

GOOD ADVICE: Remain available to the other person when entrusted with a crucial message and avoid multitasking.
