Warning:

The game can become very tiring for the cat, if it never manages to catch mice. In this case, allow the cat to become mouse after 5 minutes of play, according to its motivation!

Steps

  • The players make a round, then position themselves two by two, arm below.
  • A pair stands out from the circle: one of the players will be the cat, the other the mouse.
  • The cat continues the mouse to catch it. They both have the right to move inside the circle but only with a feet.
  • When the mouse is tired, it can take the place of a player in the circle. To do this, he just has to hang on, arm below, with one of the players. The initial pair of this player must then leave his partner and becomes the mouse.
  • If the mouse is touched it becomes the cat. The cat becomes mouse.

The game can become very tiring for the cat, if it never manages to catch mice. In this case, allow the cat to become mouse after 5 minutes of play, according to its motivation!

CONCRETELY :

  • Would you prefer to be the cat or the mouse?
  • When you are in the circle, hanging on your pair, what effect (what emotions) does that cause you if the mouse clings to your pair?

Surprise, stress, fatigue of having to run, excitement, freedom, fear, ...

FOR FURTHER :

  • Can you give a person's name, famous or not, that you find particularly courageous?
  • In daily life, are you rather a mouse that runs out to go as far as possible, or a mouse that quickly clings to someone else's arm to reassure themselves?

#courage

  • Dare and persevere: Being courageous is not not to be afraid, fear is healthy and normal in the face of a danger. Having the virtue of courage is, feeling fear, not being paralyzed by it and going beyond it to act well.

For example, journalist Dith Pran stayed in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge diet to give news from his country to the rest of the world

There are many testimonies around us, people who are courageous in their daily lives.

-A student who decided to study without the support of his loved ones/his family

-A mother who raises her children alone with little means

-A father who works a lot in rice fields to allow his family to eat their hunger

  • Fear: fear is useful because it allows you to see the danger and thus to be able to avoid it or to face it in a suitable way, with caution. Whoever does not feel fear, does not feel the danger. This can make it careless.

For example, if I do not run away from the tiger when I am afraid, I risk being devoured. Or, if I do not run away from a half rotten apple, I may be sick.

  • In life, certain situations make it possible to dare, to take risks. If it helps me get something good, then you have to take this risk. The cat and mouse game is a good training in taking small risks.

Good advice: go to the end of your actions!
