Activity details

Age range: 7-25 years old

Equipments

  • 1 white sheet per person
  • Pens
  • Colored markers and pencils

...

Goal:

Cohesion, creativity.

...

What we like:

  • Little preparation
  • Possibility of forming teams

Steps

Form teams of 3 people. Each team has the listed equipment.

  1. The first player imagines and draws a man's head and neck. He folds the paper so as to hide the head and leave only the features of the neck
  2. The second makes the bust and folds his sheet again so that only the lines corresponding to the bottom of the bust stick out.
  3. The 3rd draws the legs then the feet.
  4. The whole team together unfolds the sheet: we end up discovering the whole guy

We are obviously not obliged to make snowmen. But it's an ideal subject to start with: a head / a bust / legs.

You can also start at the bottom of the sheet.

Open the drawings in front of everyone and hang them on the wall for everyone to see

1) Levels of complexity:

  • 3 folds (as described above),
  • 4 folds (adding the hat)
  • 5 folds (by adding the surface where the feet are placed)
  • etc...

2) Themes: animals, vehicles, constructions, plants, etc... Mix several themes, or leave carte blanche!

3) Original exquisite corpse: with words / sentences. Each player writes part of a sentence (or a whole sentence) before passing the sheet to their neighbor to repeat the same action. The results are always funny!

CONCRETELY :

  • Why is it pretty? amusing ?

GOING FURTHER:

  • Would you have preferred to be told what to draw, to have a frame? Or do you prefer this total freedom?

#creativity #team

  • Take your place: in the game of the exquisite corpse, you have total freedom on the part of the body that you must draw. It doesn't hurt the whole thing: the design isn't "real", but it's fun. It represents a particular set of talents.
  • Creativity: when you are given the freedom to do something, you have to dare to create. It will be the same in your professional life, in your family life.

For example, you have just been hired, you will have to find your place using your own talents, which will surely not be the same as your predecessor, nor those of your successor.

  • Together: it is therefore important to always remember to use one's particular talents, which will be at the service of the whole. The fact that our talents and our ideas are different from those of the neighbor allows more creativity and also self-confidence.

Good advice: Create your place!
