Étapes

Everyone takes hands and we form a big circle including all the participants.

Players are forced to follow the instructions of the game master, all at the same time.

Field Tips: To do with primary school children, speed up the pace as the game progresses. Change the order giver so that everyone can try, and quickly switch to the reversed rules, which are even funnier!

  • A "game master" (who changes throughout the game), gives out loud an instruction that everyone must follow. It can be Forward/ Backward/ Left/ Right.
  • Everyone must respect the instruction because otherwise the circle is unbalanced and some may fall, and others are dragged into the fall as they hold their hand.
  • Then we change the master of the game so that young people try.

Finally, we can impose a rule that everyone must do the opposite of what the game master orders.

For example: “Sit down!

  • Sit down! participants stand up,
Stand up! They sit down... Some slump... Laughter guaranteed!

CONCRETELY :

  • What happens if not everyone reacts at the same time?
  • Were you more attentive to the master of the game or followed the reaction of your neighbors?

FOR FURTHER :

  • In everyday life, do you have examples where everyone acted the same way, at the same time?
  • Have you ever managed to have a different opinion than the whole group?

#common good

  • Do like everyone else: If we act for our pleasure, we can often do the same as our neighbors, all at the same time.

This is the case, for example, with fashion: everyone buys the same brand; this is also the case for applause: everyone congratulates the singer at the same time.

  • Impact on others: Sometimes, by doing like everyone else without thinking or without daring to speak their opinion, we participate in bad things.

If we do group work and the other students want to cheat, dare we say no? Sometimes following others can become dangerous, for example when leaving a football stadium, if everyone starts running to be the first out there is a risk of death and injury.

  • Dare to say what you think: It is never easy to have an opinion contrary to that of your friends, your classmates. This requires real self-confidence, to have taken the time to really think about the issue. You have to learn to say your opinion courageously, without anger, giving your arguments. It makes others grow as well as yourself, it makes you freer.

Good advice: Dare to say what you really think!
