Steps

A course is marked. It has a starting line, a finish line, and necessary barriers and "gates". The path is indicated using markers such as chalk, branches, and ropes.

Each team (there are seven people in this group) specifies the roles of its members:

o  There will be one blind player (or two, depending on the number)

o  two one-legged players

o  one dead-end player

o  three eligible players

It is forbidden for the "blind" to take off their blindfolds. Every player on each team is positioned behind the starting line.

o  Each team must reach the finish line by taking the demarcated course.

o  Each blind person is guided by his or her team. They must guide the blind from a distance, by voice, or by holding it by the arm.

o  The one-legged players jump with their feet on their feet,

The course may have obstacles, but these must not present a danger to the players in any way. Avoid holes in the ground or dangerous branches at all costs.

The team that gets all their players to the starting line first wins.

VARIANT 1

Depending on the number of teams, everyone will start at the same time, or start every 30 seconds. In this case, it is necessary to time each team's course to determine the winning team.

VARIANT 2

By joining two players by their legs, pairs can be formed, which serves a similar purpose. Simpler to set up, but less clear when explaining the outcome later

CONCRETELY:

  • What makes this game difficult?

Handling disabilities, holding back, assisting the young ones, ...

TO GO FURTHER:

  • On a team of 5 players, determine the typical profiles that should ideally be in the team to perform good timing: do you need big, small, light, fast, etc.?

#common good #others and me

o  This game allows you to experience surpassing yourself and difficulties for the good of all. Everybody is trying their hardest.

o  Each member contributes something unique and beneficial to the team.

o  Take care of others: To succeed in the game, everyone must take care of the others. The fastest and most skilled players must slow down to help the slower or less skilled players so that the group moves forward as much as possible.

For example, integrating a person with a disability into your team forces team members to help each other, which they would not have done otherwise.

o  Common good: Putting aside self-interest and special interests, everyone strives for the team's overall success. Justice is about all of us; when we are all acting right, the world will become a more just place. Justice is not just about the state and the courts. The common good is to live well and in harmony with others. Individual interests are at odds with the common good.

The virtue of justice is the capacity to respect other people's well-being and the welfare of the community "by fighting against one's selfishness. “Justice is predicated on the understanding that all men are created equal and that each has unique talents that should not be equated with those of another.”.

Good advice: Living with others is necessary and difficult
