Putting your feelings and impressions into words
Bring a wide variety of photos: landscapes, portraits of adults, children, alone or in groups, men/women at work, animals, cities, villages, expression (joyful, lonely, sad...), violence, misery, family, friends, birthdays, events...
Choice: Select a photo that suits you or that touches you personally and ask yourself the following questions (take notes):
Share: Show the photo you have chosen to the other participants.
Take turns to explain why you chose this picture. (Note: several children may choose the same picture. It is therefore interesting to discuss and debate the different reasons for their choices).
The facilitator must encourage the young people to reflect on their choices (not just to appreciate the photo aesthetically).
Do the same with reproductions of paintings.
What did you see? What did you feel? What do you think the artist wanted to say?
How do you use your smartphones?
Screens allow us to be connected to the world, to keep in touch, to keep informed, to work...
But isn't it dangerous to be connected all the time? Aren't we missing out on part of our lives by staying behind our screens? You isolate yourself from the rest of the world, you can't develop your talents, you can't share your emotions in real time in a natural way. You can't take care of your body and mind because you're so connected. Aren't we missing the truth in this ultra-digital world? By getting rid of our smartphones, we can feel, listen, talk, share a moment with our neighbours and get a sense of our environment. You can develop your general knowledge, serve the common good, take up a sport, stop wasting time unnecessarily, get a better quality of sleep...
