Goal:
Vocabulary review in a fun way
Steps
Step 1
- Children have the text in front of them.
- They listen to the song and fill in the missing words.
- The missing words are the important vocabulary words.
Step 2
- After repeating the previous step 2 or 3 times, the children sing the song.
- They then return their text
- to the facilitator and receive labels with each sentence of the nursery rhyme written separately.
- The children put the puzzle back in order and sing the song again.
Step 3
- Transference: During another session, the children reuse this vocabulary in simple sentences. It is ideal for this step to be carried out separately.
