Étapes
Bring a wide variety of photos: landscapes, portraits of adults, children, alone or in groups, men/women at work, animals, cities, villages, expression (joyful, lonely, sad...), violence, misery, family, friends, birthdays, events...
Choice: Select a photo that suits you or that touches you personally and ask yourself the following questions (take notes):
- Why did I choose this photo?
- What do I like about this photo?
- Does this photo remind me of someone I knew or a situation I experienced?
- Does this picture make me feel good? If yes, why?
Share: Show the photo you have chosen to the other participants.
Take turns to explain why you chose this picture. (Note: several children may choose the same picture. It is therefore interesting to discuss and debate the different reasons for their choices).
The facilitator must encourage the young people to reflect on their choices (not just to appreciate the photo aesthetically).
Do the same activity with reproductions of paintings.
