Goal:

- Responsibility
- Organisation

Steps

Divide the students into small groups, ideally consisting of four people. Each group member should receive a full deck of cards. For younger mentees, the morning routine game can be used, while the game about professional careers can be used for older mentees.

For under 15:  It's morning, and you have a lot to do before leaving for school. Choose the cards that you find useful and put them in the order that makes the most sense to you.

Once all groups have finished, ask the following question: 'This morning the alarm didn't go off, and we only have 30 minutes to get ready before leaving. How can you organize your cards to ensure you get to school on time?'

For the older ones: We have many important tasks to complete this year and in the future. What is the best order to tackle them?

Give each group a deck of cards and ask them to spread them out on the ground, in order (what to do in 1st, 2nd...).

Discuss

Give each student a card and ask them to line up in order (it forces them to coordinate, read all the cards, agree...).

CONCRETELY

Have you ever planned for tomorrow or your future?

# Organization

Organizing your thoughts and tasks step by step is a valuable skill. It is particularly useful when creating something new or taking on significant personal or professional responsibilities.  Planning helps to avoid missing important steps and allows time for thoughtful consideration before getting caught up in the chain of events. This approach offers more perspective, helps us consider the situation better, and avoids forgetfulness and traps. It also allows us to react to events that disrupt our plans, without having to plan everything.
