Equipments
- 2 sheets of paper per godchild (ideally several sizes and colours) + felt-tip and coloured pencil kit per team or group
Goal:
To articulate one's definition of happiness and acknowledge that humans are meant to be happy.

Draw your lotus (1 heart and 4 petals): use a typical flower from your country (frangipani, lotus, etc.)
- At the heart, draw who you are (Who am I?)
- Petal 1 (top): draw what happiness means to you
- Petal 2 (bottom): draw what unhappiness means to you
- Petal 3 (top): write your motto (2 or 3 words which are very important to you)
- Petal 4 (bottom): free (according to your inspiration)
A little tip: encourage children to draw more than write!
- Everyone presents their flower to their group
- Explain each petal (either to its neighbor, in a small group, or in a large group)
You can offer to let anyone who agrees (everyone must be able to decide for themselves) use their lotus flower to adorn the living areas. You can respect self-expression and creativity because of this!

- Happiness: Regardless of his/her culture, everyone wants to be happy. This pursuit of happiness is a universal value because all people want to experience it. To be happy is more than living: it is to live well.
- I want to understand how to be happy. I want to find ways to achieve happiness. Thanks to my intelligence, I can do it.
For example, I will use my intelligence to improve my house, to build useful things that will allow me to live well in it. It can be as simple as cleaning a toilet, fixing a water supply, or even hot water, and much more
- Philosophy: The study of philosophy assists man/woman in achieving happiness.
- First get to know yourself: Who am I? The Lotus Flower helps me think about it.
- There are different goals (finalities) where I can find happiness and contentment: What is the meaning of my life? I also must consider this.
In my work, in art? What makes me happy?
In my friendships? What makes me happy? In life with others? What makes me happy?
In my religion? What makes me happy?
• Secondly, for a person to be happy, he/she needs to understand what happiness means. To accomplish this, he/she will strive for the four key virtues of happiness: courage, fairness, balance in his/her joys, and the ability to make decisions.
